Letters From The Urinal

San Francisco State really is a breeding ground for imaginative thought, artistry, and new perception. I can remember in nearly every public bathroom I have dared to enter, there is a series of fowl pen scratches in the chipped paint veneer of the stalls. Usually the notes are something about sex or anger or large phalluses of particular length or veinyness. In the SFSU bathrooms however, there is a different kind of sstall art going on. Each bathroom stall contains its own individual chalkboard for the students and otherwise to put their thoughts. What a thoroughly ingenious idea. Combat tagging in a productive sense. Three cups of coffee in my morning modern criticism class sent me to the Humanities bathroom on break. In my stall a number of poems and wise words were scrawled on the large blackboard on the right hand side. The one that caught my eye was this.

"Years from now none of ths will matter."
